DON’T CALL ME PASTOR. By Awotiku Akinlayo David This dispensation of time is filled with many Christians that are proud of their spiritual stagnancy. They enjoyed being babes in Christianity. It has become a normal phenomenon to be a church goer or join one unit and still be spiritually stagnant, the same level he joined the unit is still the same level he was spiritually since 10 or 5 years he got born again even till date. This category of Christians are so proud of this that they always assume there is a special grace for those who are passionate in preaching, teaching and praying vigorously and consistently, therefore those ones are referred to as the pastors while they are the members and spiritual children. It is so disheartening that when you talk with them about the bible or anything that pertains to spiritual things, they will start flattering you with different spiritual titles like ‘pastor, (they will even drag it), and they’ll go paaasstorrr, apostle, maaan of ...
