INCARNATION IS THE REASON FOR CHRISTMAS John 1:1 [1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, AND THE WORD WAS GOD. Note: THE WORD WAS GOD!!! From the dictionary meaning of the word 'incarnate' it means possessing or existing in bodily form. That's exactly what happened with God and Christ. God didn't send someone else, instead He is the one that possessed bodily form. John 1:14 [14] AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. This was what happened over 2000years ago, that we celebrate as Christmas on this day. The day God - The Word, became flesh. The day God was incarnated The day God possessed bodily form.
