DONT GET STUCK WITH FEAR by Akinboyo Oluwafisayomi Adenike

Don't get stuck with FEAR
Fear is like a force pressing us down and making us to believe we can't do what we want to do. Fear enslaves and takes away what rightfully belongs to us, fear makes us sink in the ocean of unbelief, fear makes us lose consciousness our son-ship in the kingdom, fear breaks the connection between God and man, and it hinders us from coming boldly before God as we ought to.
Many of us do not believe in the power and ability given to us by God, we think we cant do what he did and even greater. Jesus bid Peter to come to Him walking on the sea, he did at first but fear gripped him and hence began to sink, many Christians have sunk and are still sinking today because they've lost their citizenship to the kingdom to fear.
We can’t work and walk with God effectively when fear is engrossed in our heart. Remember He has not given us the spirit of fear but of sound mind, fear is not of God, it is contrary to the spirit of God and many have allowed this contrary spirit to dominate their hearts. Anyone who is called by God's name and belongs to His family has been redeemed and delivered from fear.
The reason why some people don’t go far in life is because theyve entertained fear in their hearts, they believe they can’t achieve their goal, they believe they can’t fulfil purpose, they believe they can’t attain that greater heights that awaits them, they believe success isn't meant for them, they don't believe in the ability that God has given them instead they feed and nourish their fear frequently.
Since we've been delivered, why is it that fear is still entertained in our hearts? Why are we sinking in the ocean of unbelief? Why do we live as slaves in our Father's kingdom?
It’s simply because we do not feed our faith. Faith is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8) God is the originator of faith, there is no faith outside the person of Jesus. Faith is not self-generated and every believers have this same spirit of faith (2 Corinthians 4:13). Anyone who has received the gospel has faith in him because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, that's why we are called believers.
As a Christian, you carry faith, you shouldnt have faith problem but many of us do not feed our faith. Faith can be fed by the constant study of the word, by exposing your mind to the works and results of faith, keep hearing, keep reading, keep trying and practicing your faith, keep seeing the works and results of faith till every iota of doubt is broken and fear is gone. Move with people who have the same spirit of faith with you, guard your heart against influences which are anti-works of faith, keep feeding on Gods abilities and starve your fear to death.
Faith focuses on God but fear focuses on problems, faith will make you stand strong and firm but fear drowns you and makes you sink. Faith is not meant to be preached alone but also to be practiced. The believers can do the miraculous, you can heal the sick, you can manifest the gifts of the spirit, you can cast out demons, you can save, you have the power, it has been given to you by God but remember that ‘tremendous, fervent, earnest prayer of the righteous makes tremendous power available. (James 5:16b). Pray always and keep praying, prayer helps to build and energize your faith. You can ask anything in His name, and you'll receive, just believe. Don't ask like a slave, don't ask like a beggar, but ask like a bona-fide son of God. When you pray, don't pray with fear. Hebrews 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
Practice faith, do the works of faith, build your confidence and do away with fear.
Feed your faith and not your fear. Don't get stuck with fear, stand strong in faith.
