 SPIRITUALITY CONTROLS REALITY: ETERNAL LIFE
Let’s Pray:
Please if u can pray in tongues, start now.
Jude 1:20 - "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost," SPEAKING IN TONGUES. Father we thank you for a beautiful evening like this to gather and learn at your feet, we thank u for you love and inspiration per day. Thank you for your guidance and healing u gave to us during d week. Father we want to learn of you this night, cause us to see a new realm of your word in Jesus name We are here again to draw from d living water. Grant us divine access to spiritual things in Jesus name. We will grow more into maturity in Jesus name. For in Jesus name we have prayed! And every one say a powerful AMEN
John 3:16, its a common and very popular verse from d bible. I know most of us knows it offhand.
I will want us to start from verse 14 down to 17
John 3:14-17 – ‘And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
D story of Moses and the Israelites should not be new to us. It was when d Israelites sinned against God and snakes were killing them brutally.
Moses cried out to God for forgiveness of their sins, and God told him to make a bronze snake, hang it on a pole, anyone that is bitten by snake, once he looks at d hanged snake, he will be saved and live. That's a summary of it.
Note this down: the Old Testament is a shadow of the events of the New Testament hence, everything that happened in those days were all pointing to Jesus Christ and Him only
As d snake was lifted, so must d son of man be lifted up.
This is d story interpretation,
Adam brought sin into d world and that is why a new born baby is a sinner even though by action, he might not have sinned before.
D nature of sin we inherited from Adam is d one that made us dead even though we are living,
Last week I said "anyone that does not have Christ is a dead man, a walking corpse."
Ecclesiastics 7:20, There is not a righteous man on earth...
Romans 3:23, for all have sinned and fall short of d glory of God.
Romans 5:12-17, please read at your leisure time to know how Adam brought sin into d world.
So if everyone is a sinner, then everyone deserves to die, Romans 6:23a, for the wages of sin is DEATH
No rigging of judgment, no ojoro, a natural sinner can only be paid by death as his reward
But…
There was a shift, God really loved his creature and does not want any of us to perish, not even a soul.
Guess what he did?
He sent His image, himself actually, to come and do d necessary thing that will make us alive again
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but ETERNAL LIFE"
Whosoever believeth,
Just belief Jesus and u automatically have ETERNAL LIFE,
Its immaturity to think one SIN can take away eternal life from you
The reason is because u don't know what eternal life means.
Eternal life is a life of God.
This is to tell u that the life of God resides in every believers
It might be a costly assumption but I want to believe every one added to this group are all born again
If u are not sure or still doubting, u can private chat me, so I can put u through on what to do.
So everyone here has d life of God, so if God is eternal then our life is eternal because God is our life.
This eternal life is the life that entered u through the Holy Spirit.
When u got born again, u get d life of God in you, it also means the Holy Spirit lives in u, Holy Spirit is a Symbol of God's life in a believer because He is the spirit of God
This eternal life is the first thing u acquire, and it is d one thing that will forever be in u.
Holy Spirit never leaves anyone, no matter what, once He is in u, He is there to stay forever
I remember that song
"into my heart, come into my heart, Lord Jesus
Come in today, come in to stay..."
It is not a prayer, its a fact that can never be changed.
John 14:16 – ‘And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;’
I've heard people saying "if u want to give your life to Christ" but technically its wrong, u don't av a life to give Jesus, He is d one offering u a life, u are naturally a dead man by sin.
Lemme round up now,
The first stage is knowing you have this eternal life, it is after knowing then you can allow the life to show case itself in your character, this is the work of Holy Spirit in us.
1John 5:11-13 – ‘And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
John wrote the whole of 1 John just for us to know that we have eternal life
To convince us
To inform us
To update us
To assure us
That that eternal life is loaded in you so don't live as someone who don't have life
A person with live is someone who loves God enough that he wants to speak to God per time
A person with live is someone who wants to study the word more just to know more about eternal life
Eternal life is our spirituality, so also it is obviously our reality.
A Christian is not a Christian if he claims Christianity as his religion.
A Christian is one who live as Christ to the world
When they see him, they misplace him as Christ.
They assume Christ is the one living
A Christian with eternal life does not joke with spiritual things, he does not joke with prayer, morning devotion, quiet time, consciousness of God per time and taking God into consideration before deciding.
Hallelujah! My conclusion is that
You've got this new life in you, it helps you do the spiritual things conveniently, u don't forget to pray, Bible don't seems boring because this new life is at work.
Just put it into action by allowing the Holy Spirit to find expression in you.

Let's pray: Father we that u for opening our eyes to the fact that eternal life is inside of us, Lord we pray for grace to put this life into reality in Jesus name. Direct our path and lead us aright in Jesus name. We choose your way alone in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus, grant us an inspirational weekend and days ahead till will meet again next Friday in Jesus name we have prayed. And who house say a powerful and prophetic AMEN
