TEACHING ON SUNDAY (13/10/2018) ANGLICAN BIBLE STUDY

Our last Sunday bible study topic was "pleasing God through power manifestation"

1Cor. 4: 19 KJV: But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. 20 KJV: For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Q1: Every Christian is expected to walk by and manifest divine power. Discuss

A lovely and beautiful friend of mine put something on her status yesterday:

ü If supernatural things still looks supernatural to u, then u are yet to understand d reality of who u are as a Christian.

ü If opening d blinds' eyes or raising d dead or casting out demons, still look miraculous to u, folks, u still have a very long way to go

ü If a prophecy or a word of wisdom came to u by a great man of God, and it makes u wonder, or surprised that u be like "how did he know?" Then u are still lagging behind of ur authority in Christianity.

ü If u are still enticed by d miracles performed in front of u, or if u are still looking for a man of God to pray for u for a miracle just because he prayed for a friend and there was an instantaneous breakthrough, then u are ignorant of who u really are.

Lemme inform u: Those things are normal to Christians, it can be strange to unbelievers but I tell u, it should be a norm for us.

Our reality is Spirituality is loaded with authority.

I want to ask a question too – Every Christian is expected to be in church every Sunday. Discuss

Response from someone: Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Not to go to church. Though the Bible says we should not shun our fellowship with one another, we can fellowship at anytime and anywhere so far we both have that same belief, which is God and Love. Going to church and others shouldn't be termed as a big sin. I don't think we should stigmatize not going to church. My opinion though. I stand to be corrected.

Oga mi. U are very correct.  It means we don't have to be forced, urge, persuade or cajoled to go to church on sunday, naturally u should know because it is one of ur symbols and identity in Christianity.

The same thing is applicable in this first question.

U should know it is our lifestyle to have power and authority over everything on earth.

Let's check the bible so that u won't thing I'm speaking from my mindset

Mark 16:17 KJV: And these signs shall follow THEM THAT BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 KJV: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Not them that has higher anointing, not them that are general overseers, not them that can pray 30hours in a day but "those that BELIEVES" simple!

Which means u can do it as well, I can do it, all d signs and wonders that all those big men of God are doing,

I'm telling u, U CAN DO IT.

Because it is our reality, it is a sign to show unbelievers that u have a God who performs extraordinary things,

Extraordinary things are ordinary to Christians. It is ur lifestyle to operate in the extraordinary realm. So try it now and take a step of faith

If it didn't work out d 1st time, try again

It is a great way to entice the unbelievers to come to Christ.

Make it ur normal life to work out in power and take authority. It is what father has given u.

Q2a. Why are some Christian now manifesting this supernatural power of God?

Answer: Some are ignorant of it

Some are scared of "what if it didn't work?"

Some are scared of what if d person slap my face and abuse me

Some lack faith

Some lack d consciousness of God's power in them.

Q2b. What is God's response?

Answer: He is disappointed,

He is sad because u don't know who u really are.

He is bitter because ur faith is not strong

He is bothered to have a son and d son is not showing his symbols as son of the most-high God.

Yoruba adage says: A kii romo oba, ki a ma ri ami oba lara e. Ami dansaki gbudo Han Lara omo oba.

NOTE: God is not angry because u av failed to manifest. There are big differences between ‘being angry and being disappointed’

Q3. Final question: How can we walk by or manifest God's power today?

Answer: It is very simple:

Know the truth about urself not only d fact

ü D truth is u are a man of authority.

ü D truth is u carry God's power

ü D truth is u are unstoppable

ü D truth is every attributes or names they can give God, u av d right to show people this attributes

ü D truth is if God is great then I and u are great

ü D truth is we are extraordinary being because greater is he that is in us than he that is in d world.

Once u know all these truths about ur reality in christ, my friend, u can command and it will happen instantly.

One more is u have to make ur faith in God stronger so that it can cast out every fear in u that is stopping u from trying.

God knows u need him to strengthen ur faith so he wants to help those who are ready to be helped. Those who are honest and sincere with their little faith.

There is no condition of living right before u can operate in d spiritual.

Ur spiritual authority is activated by ur knowledge backed up with faith, not by not making mistakes, ur way of living does not av anything to do with ur power in God.

As a matter of fact, that operation of power is what makes u live right, run away from sin and also teaches u to deny ungodliness as well.

I will conclude with just 2 stories

Benson Idahosa was in a service, his pastor preached that u can heal d sick and even raised d dead. He was surprised that he didn't know, he thought it was by level of spirituality, so he left d church going around d city, looking for a dead person, he found one, quoted d bible verse and command d dead to rise and immediately d man rose up. He raised about 5 deaths that day.

Another story was a man who went for a wake keep, on getting there, they were lining up to check d corpse inside d casket. When it was this man's turn, he took d dead man's hand and commanded him to stand up. D first time he didn't stand, everyone already clear off, scared of d strange thing this man is doing to d dead, D man tried again d second time, d dead refused to wake up. D third time, he said "I m giving u last warning, and I won't repeat myself again, so it is better u stand up right now or else I leave u to remain dead" Lo And behold! This man stood up and asked “who died?” that was how burial turned into a revival.

My fellow saints

It is more advisable to try it and fail that to be scared to try to exercise this power within us.

U've d power in u,

I say again: u av d power in u

U can command things and they will obey.

Start trying from now on

When u are wounded, try prayer and av faith and see what happens next.

When u gat headache, try God before any drug at all.

I call u blessed

Prayer: Father we thank u for u word

Thank u for showing our reality to us as believers.

Thank u for d power in us by u.

We walk in d reality of ur power in us in Jesus name

Every of our decrement(s) are established in Jesus name.
