PURPOSE: LOVING WHAT I DO

Let's pray ooooo
Lord we bless u. Thank u our maker, We give u glory we praise ur only name because there is none like u. No one could be compared to u. U are not just a great God among other gods, no! U are THE GOD OVER all other gods. Glory to ur name we praise. We are here again at ur feet to learn on our purpose. We pray that thou show us and help us identify thy purpose for our life so as to love to do things in line with it and fit in to it perfectly in Jesus name. For in Jesus name we have prayed! AMENNNNNNNN

In early 2015, I was done with SIWES, I was back to my school. We were preparing for our report on feedback of what we did in SIWES and to be realistic, I had done very little compared to others. I was so tense that seeing others full preparation scares me and bring down as if I'm not a member of that department. I could only think less of what I was to present but instead I think more on how to present it that it won't bring a question from d supervisor.
D day move nearer and i got scarer. (Permit me grammarians) I kept adjusting, correcting, vetting, thorough vetting and even extra thorough vetting. (if u know, hmmm u know oooo)
One of our lecturer. Double Prof can spoil someone's brilliant mind with just a simple mediocre question that would disrupt ur brain, u will know d answer but u won't know how to present d answer. I know I'm not d first person who had experienced such.
D day finally came, I was standing in front of brilliant lecturers of my department. I thought of how to start what to say first and where to begin! It was a high level voltage of nervoursity (forgive me again grammarians) God first helped me send double Prof away with an unexpected call. Until I finished my presentation. I presented with less nervous mind, it was a great one honestly.
No tough question. I performed wonderfully well.
But today, I can't even remember my topic or what I present on that day, I can't even attached it to my career even to d course I study.
Why???
I mean why the stress and scary moments?
Y do I av to be scared that day?
Probably so that I won't get low mark.
D question remains why???
Good evening everyone.
Today's topic like I said 'LOVING WHAT I DO'
And its gonna be lovely.
God is helping us tonight.
Many a times we tend to do many things basically on one reason or d other, not because we really love to do it but because of d string attached to it. Either through direct or indirect threat, or under compulsion or blackmailing and others.
Its not really because we want to do it
Likewise we want to do some things but actually we don't love to do it.
U av to get it right tonight by God's grace. (My head must be correct.)
Let's start with God.
God created us not because he needed us but out of his abundance showers of love.
He love to something that will bring out his expression of love.
He wants to create something he can pour his love on.
He is so much intentional in creating us
This is to show y bible recorded that GOD IS LOVE and that's where we started this month from.
D definition for Love is God.
As simple as that.
Whatever he does was a show of his love.
God is great. He is a purposeful God, an intentional God. A loving God.
What am I saying in excess?
If u are able to define ur purpose now, u must love everything u do that is in line with it.
Either u want it or not.
Either u enjoy it or it seems stressful.
Either u feel like or not.
U need to love it.
If ur purpose is to fight for d right of people, u know u will want to go into law, sometimes it can be annoying, tough, stressful, deadly, strict and hard.
But U've got to face it.
Love everything that falls in ur hand that aligns with d purpose
Ur purpose is to cook for d needy, times will come when u will be tired and annoying to see d fact that u are cooking without any accurate reward that fits in to it from them yet! U don't have to do it out of grudges.
Do it wholeheartedly.
Love it! See it as part of ur life.
Feel it as though u can't do without it.
When u love doing those things, u will keep enjoying ur life.
When u love something, u will love doing it as though it is now part of ur life that u can't do without.
Bible says ‘Whatsoever thy hand findeth doing, DO IT WITH ALL THY MIGHT.’
If d bible is saying u should do what ur hands find doing with all thy might, imagine how u will handle what u love doing.
Selah!
Back to my story and the question of why:
D reason is very simple
I was preparing so great so as to earn big marks not because I really love to do d presentation.
I honestly hate to stand to talk before people but I have to do it that day out of an indirect threat if I'm right.
If we can prepare so much and desperately on what we are been cajoled to do, how much more what we love doing?
When u love everything u do that aligns to ur purpose, I'm telling u, u are starting in fulfilling purpose right away.
Because fulfilling purpose starts from when u started preparing to fulfill the purpose.
Paul identified his purpose, he knew he was sent not to d Jews but to d gentiles...
He knew where his calling was attached to.
No wonder he loved moving around, preaching and teaching d gentiles especially, not considering what comes may.
He told d romans in chapter 1 vs 16, he is not ashamed of d gospel.
He also said he is indebted to them if he refused to preach.
He had fallen in love with what he was doing.
He saw preaching as an obligation.
He got to d extent to swearing to preach and bringing woe upon himself if he refused to preach.
This is a mad purposeful man.
Here is d lesson tonight.
Whatsoever u are doing and it seems as though its getting more complicated in d preparation of fulfilling purpose.
Don't give up, just love it.
Love what u are doing right now and enjoy every step u take.
Don't let situations determine what u will do instead use ur doing to affect situations around.
U should start loving what u are doing.
Don't do things out of compulsion or blackmailing indirectly.
I love y'all.
Let's pray
Father we bless you for this little study. Thank u for helping us get a depth of what we are to do in line with our purpose. I pray for deeper revelation of what to do so as to enjoy every bit of what we are doing. We pray for deeper understanding of it in Jesus name. Amen Thank u Jesus for d answered prayer. For in Jesus name we have prayed. AMENNNNNNNN
