If u are around, oya find sit and sit down, tonight's teaching is gonna be eruptive, be ready to go deeper in knowing a mysterious God.
Let us pray.
We bless u God for another new month, which ends the year. Thank you for being there for us. Hosanna in the highest. Be praised forever in Jesus name. Almighty God as we study about u and about d mysteries in you we pray u real deep mysteries of your nature to us in Jesus name. A revelation of your mightiness and deeper mysteries of your supernatural in Jesus name. Thank u God because u are going to speak to us. For in Jesus name we have prayed. AMENNNNNN
We want to thank everyone here tonight and wish u all once again HAPPY NEW MONTH. December will be a great month for us in Jesus name
Tonight we want to talk on a topic that says "The Mysterious God"
Who is ready and curious to know some mysteries about God?
Just follow closely and be enlightened by d spirit of God in us
Let's start from The Trinity: D greatest problem religions have with Christianity is the issue of trinity. God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
How can we claim God is 3 yet He is still one? Hmmmmmmmm!
Going back to Genesis 1:26 AMP: God said, “Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them...”
To natural man's understanding, it seems nonsensical but it is sensible only to d supersensible being and those who are hosts of this being. (The spirituals)
God is in no way a man, can never be. We are all created in His image so our knowledge cannot give us a clear understanding of His mysteries.
It is not hidden, it’s just we can’t know it casually or carnally, It takes God to know God.
I mean we can't know it with our natural knowledge.
Col. 1:26 – ‘AMP: The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints),
See something here: The mystery of God was hidden to both angels and men, especially the Old Testament prophets, none of them had a glance on the secrets of God
Not because God does not want them to know it but because they can never comprehend with a natural brain. No wonder Jesus was using parables to preach and teach.
No wonder David said the secret of the Lord is with those that fear Him
The funniest thing is that d secret of God is just the actions of God, the attitudes of God but the nature of God kept Hidden to them in the old testament even Moses didn't see any mystery of God.
God is everything so d back that Moses saw signifies the past events that happened before the earth were formed. He saw God in respect to time.
Yet the bible said ‘it was hidden to both men and angels’
How manage?
My brother, that's another mystery of God.
It is a show that God is Mysterious not only in all His ways but His nature is unfathomable.
He is too great to be researched on.
If we don't have Him, we can’t know him, yet If u have Him and didn't find Him, u can’t see Him or know Him.
You need to be desperate to know him
Ezekiel said the more he went into d water, d deeper it becomes.
See, there is not just mysteries of God but God is that mystery that searches for mysteries
He is not just an ordinary God who has His own mysteries, but mysteries find itself in God.
He is not just God of everything, HE IS THAT EVERYTHING we are talking about.
That's a deep mystery about it, every things, every words used in qualifying Him finds its relevance in God.
He is the mysterious God that reigns timelessly, no time or date, He is just Himself.
1Tim. 3:16 – ‘KJV: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Point to note: Until God was manifest in the flesh then the angels could not see Him
Meaning it was when God came in form of Jesus then angels could see Him because it is very certain that God can NEVER BEEN SEEN. He is a spirit being! Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God.
Jesus Christ now became the mystery of God according to the reality of the presence of the Holy Spirit in us.
When u see Jesus, u have seen God. John 14:9
It is not an assumption, IT IS THE REALITY.
Paul could write spiritual mysteries of God because he was encountered by JESUS HIMSELF
Not His back like what Moses saw, neither his front like what John saw but the whole body of Jesus, no wonder he became blind with immediate effect because nothing on earth, no super-lens on earth can withstand Jesus full revelation.
Colossians 2:2 – ‘...and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One).’ 3 AMP: In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.’
Colossians 1:27 – ‘To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.’
I hope now it is getting clearer that the Mysterious God is Jesus, to know more mysteries about God is to get acquainted with Jesus, learn more about him and u will keep knowing more mysteries of God.
It was foolishness to the devil when God came to the world as Jesus and died for our sins, there were lots of prophecies about him but we could not comprehend because of our natural brain.
How can God use ordinary flesh as weapon in defeating him, it is unreasonable at all.
But God's foolishness is wiser than the wisest man on earth.
We'll stop here tonight! Let us pray:
Eternal, invisible God we give u glory for the reality of ur mystery which u have shown to us tonight. We pray that we will see a full picture of Jesus and behold His mysteries in deeper dimension in Jesus name. A new and updated realm of God in Jesus is unraveled to us right now in Jesus name. Thank u mysterious God. Blessed be your name forever. For in Jesus name we have prayed! AMENNNNNNN
