HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020 (PART TWO)

Do you know that life is incomplete without enemies? Life is also incomplete without fake and real friends. You will meet those who love you conditionally and those who love you unconditionally. And on the other way round, you will meet those who hate u passionately, some will reveal it to you while some will pretend to love you. Before the end of the 2018, you must have had different quotes like: ‘I’m cutting some people from my life because they have not contributed positively to my life in the previous year(s)’. Another says: ‘I break my closeness or connection or relationship with enemies pretending to be friends with me.’ It is not bad actually but I want you to critically scrutinize and ask yourself, ‘Have you contributed positively to ALL the lives you came across in 2018 alone? Have you truly loved every of your friends unconditionally? Have you not pretend to love a friend when you actually dislike or hate such person in your heart?

If you want to follow the common trend of cutting people off your life every year, how sure are you that someone have not cut you out of his/her life even before the year? So instead, why not find all possible means to impact those lives you want to cut off in the smallest and simplest way you can do? Why are you so selfish that you want progress for your life only and care less about others’ life?

It is time to meditate on how to impact every lives that come in contact with you this year and choose not to cut off anyone. Think on how to contribute positively to lives that has not added any value to your life. We live for each other. All our spiritual gifts are not for ourselves alone but for everyone. All our ministerial gifts are not for our personal use alone but to profit withal, in other word, to bring souls to Christ and edify the body of Christ till we are fully grown to the measure of the stature of Christ. 2019 is not about living for ourselves alone but living for others. Save a soul!

Indirectly I have finished 2019 because I have planned my year with God just as I had done in the early 2018. You can either believe it or not. IT MIGHT NOT BE A PHYSICAL FACT YET BUT IT IS A SPIRITUAL TRUTH. My vision and goals have been set and configured in line with my purpose, I didn’t plan alone and present to God for rubberstamping just as many do, the implication of this is that it can distract and digress you away from God’s purpose for your life in 2019 and God might not do anything about it because He has said He will answer you according to the desire of your heart. Instead I allowed Him to be the chairman while I be the secretary of My Year Planning Committee. My brothers, I urge you to make the best use of your time because time is life, your life depends on how you spend your time. It is not too late to start a 2019 Planning Committee with God.

We planned everything together when I tarried in His presence just to find out His 2019 plans for me. 2019 is much more superb than 2018 and it is no doubt that 2020 will be glorious than 2019 just as the Bible had confirmed that ‘the glory of the latter shall be greater than the former’. Through God, you can have the best year ever. With God, it can only get better. IT CAN ONLY BE HAPPY NEW YEAR IF GOD IS HAPPY THAT YOU ARE HAPPY. It can also be Happy New Year when your happiness is springing forth from the Joy in the Holy Ghost that resides in you and challenging you to make people happy and add expensive values to their lives in the smallest way you can. That is an obvious sign that you are indeed fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.

Finally brethren, when it’s all said and done, I hereby conclude that 2019 is a great year for me because God is involved and God is the plan. I have chosen not to cut off any enemies or pretenders or valueless friends because my love for everybody is UNCONDITIONAL. We (myself and God) have planned to touch virtually all lives that comes my way. I am desperate to touch the heavens and change the earth for good. I am growing in spiritual discipline and commitment this year. No chance for procrastination, negligence, indiscipline or complacency. What about you? Plan your year right away. And always remember that God is always with us all.
