BE SPIRITUALLY CONNECTED AT ALL TIMES. By Awotiku Akinlayo David

We are in a dispensation of time where Christians struggle in place of prayer. They believe prayer is to be performed at a particular time, it is a time to get connected with the spirit for spiritual activities. The time set aside for prayer or personal devotion is not the correct time to start looking for spiritual connections but it is a time to start operating with ease spiritual transaction.
Many have fall victim of these things (myself inclusive) because they get disconnected from the spirit after a long spiritual encounter and they are waiting to get connected again in the next set time for spiritual exercise.
Prayer is not a part of our life, it is our lifestyle. Christians are controlled by the Spirit in all areas of life not just in the time for spiritual gymnastics alone. Acts 17:28a – ‘for in Him we live and move and have our being,’
We don’t give leisure time to our spirit man, we don’t assign siesta time for him, we don’t give him time for recess or break or holiday or strike neither do we put Holy Spirit into action only when it is time to pray. We don’t operate that way but instead we engage Him in everything we do.
The apostles were praying on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon them, people assumed they were drunk when they began to speak in tongues. (Acts 2:1-13) And since then the Holy Spirit has come to stay and dwell in us forever. (John 14:16)
John 8:48 – ‘The Jews then said, "That clinches it. We were right all along when we called you a Samaritan and said you were crazy — demon-possessed!"’ (THE MESSAGE)
John 10:20 – ‘And many of them said," He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?"’
Acts 26:24 – ‘Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, "Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!"
If you read the whole story that constituted all these conclusions that Jesus is crazy, demon-possessed, or mad, you would discovered that they were not gotten from an observation or critical investigation of the way or the time they pray. Likewise Paul, Festus didn’t get his conclusion to him being mad from what he saw during his private praying time. These people were all attending to physical matters in spiritual ways and with spiritual consciousness. Now tell me how these kind of people will find it difficult to connect to the spirit when it is time for them to pray if they have been engaging their spirit man in their daily activities.
A spiritual drunkard does not wait for the time of prayer to get drunk of the spirit. The best time to manifest your spiritual drunkenness is when you engage your spirit man in your normal life. Don’t just be filled with the Spirit only during effective prayer time instead let the Holy Spirit take over in all facets of your life.
A person who is always conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit will not find it difficult to connect when it is time to pray. A person who hungers and thirsts for God per time will not look for spiritual connection at the time of prayer. A person who involves the Holy Spirit in his daily activities will need not search for Spiritual Hotspot when it is time to blast in tongues. A person who remains connected after some series of prayer cannot be disconnected from the Spirit when it is time for another powerful encounter. A man who sees God in everything he does, who is ready to hear God speak from any medium, and who engages God in other areas of his life will not look for spiritual connection when it is time for prayer.
Some might think it is possibly sin that is hindering the connection but may I tell you that it is due to the limitation you have given the Holy Spirit, you inform Him to intercede for you during prayer hours alone and strictly warn Him not to interfere when it is time for normal daily activities.
A person who is conscious of the spirit at all times will be waiting for a free time to launch into prayer. If there seems to be no free time, he will want to squeeze out time no matter how small just sit down alone with God and to pray in the spirit to charge up his spirit man.
Once you have successfully connected your phone’s hotspot with your system’s Wi-Fi to browse. When it is another time to browse again, there is an automatic connection that takes place without stress after the switching on of both application for connection.
When your hunger is strongly wetted while you are busy with other things, when you are always ready to hear God’s voice or when you engage your spirit man in your casual life, when there is strong desperation to get drunk spiritually; there is a spiritual automatic connection that happens immediately without searching when it is time to pray.
Don’t wait for the time to pray to find spiritual connection. STAY CONNECTED AT ALL TIMES!
