THE TROUBLED PEACEFUL MAN (The beginning) by Awotiku Akinlayo David

THE TROUBLED PEACEFUL MAN (The beginning)

In the perplexities and difficulties of life;
Where sufferings and pains lie, grievous and devastating states;
In the hearts of men especially in the private life of believers;
We long to sort things out by all means we come across;
It provokes secret weeping when the pain seems deeper than the cross;
We are scared to tell people about it to protect our integrity in Christianity;
Because we think no one can really sort them out perfectly in reality;
Don’t worry, God is in charge, talk to Him about your anxiety.

There are times we claim to enjoy the presence of God;
We easily sort out people’s problem even though it seems like a tree’s log;
We rebuke and reproof people just to set them up in the Lord;
We as well train and discipline people in the way of the Lord;
We smile and laugh while in the midst of the congregation of God;
Yet our heart weeps at the same time at when the smiling is coming forth;
We encourage people with the Word of God but find no one to encourage us;
We share peaceful and enjoying moments in the presence of others;
Yet it’s neither realistic nor visible in our individual private life like others;
We think no one can understand even if we explain to them as brothers;
We say beautiful things to exalt and edify people in faith publicly;
Yet out of annoyance in grief we say nasty things to God privately;
Actually what God wants from us is nothing else but honesty and sincerity;
Don’t worry, God understands your status, keep talking to Him about the anxiety.

Like the gentility of a dove we showcase our peaceful state without an iota of hostility;
Sometimes some people even mistake our gentility as stupidity;
Little did they know that there is a sensitivity in our accessibility;
And that our hearts are filled with negativity and complexity;
Sometimes we are so troubled that we are stinking to ourselves;
We feel ashamed and cowardice in preaching the word of God to people;
And assumed we are the only one in such situations of secret faults and wrinkles;
Don’t worry beloved, God is aware, don’t stop talking to Him about it.

...to be continued.
