Right from the beginning, the presence the Lord has always comprised of everything about God, all the qualities and characteristics that’s used in describing God: His voice, His Spirit, His nature, His image, His Word, His glory, His face, His love and the likes. From the bible, there are different verses where God’s description seems to sound abnormal to an intellectual diagnosis of man. Example given is Genesis 3:8 – “And they heard the sound of the Lord God WALKING IN THE GARDEN in the cool of the day…,” the question to be considered here is ‘How can a sound be walking?’ Further to this verse is “…and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.” Which implies that the walking sound here represented a presence of God. Several times, we explain the Scripture with human understanding or intellect, we easily get confused and that’s why religions are finding it difficult to believe in trinity or Jesus as the son of God. The admonition to bath daily from our tutors was a regular feature in our primary school days. Time and time again they tell us the benefits of bathing daily and the consequences of skipping baths to the human body. Now that we are fully grown, we understand better the need to bath daily as we were taught earlier on. As a testament to this, many of us now bath twice or thrice per day. A physical bath is good for the body because it washes dirt away from our body, resulting in a healthy body. I would have listed the benefits of a physical bath but this article is not focusing on physical washing but a spiritual bath. Final part... Jesus Christ is the best and greatest Avenger of all the avengers in the movie even if we are to agree there are some avengers in reality, Jesus standard and achievement beats them all. God intentionally uses ideas that sounds foolish to the world to shame those people considered by the world as great and wise. Many things are naturally embedded in what Christ has done for us through the sufferings, the shame and the death he went through. Everything was done for our justification before God. We became righteous before God through His blood. He bridged the gap that separated us from God. He restored our godly nature back to us as the bible has said we are gods.
